Bet he's wishing he went ahead and got that surgery after all.....not looking good if he is struggling this much. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he gives the grass season a go and then shuts it down for surgery.

As if Nadal even needs a layup draw on clay. Should force the hardest draw on him so he at least has to earn it.

Live rankings has Felix up to #24 (one spot behind his good friend Shapo).

There have been some questionable draws at majors recently, but this is downright embarrassing on the Nadal side. Qualifier opponents in both the first and second rounds? Nishikori as a potential QF match is literally the only potential for Rafa to be even slightly pushed before the semis. Brutal.

Chances of seeing a Fed or Novak draw similar to this at Wimbledon are non-existent......only the French open would bugger this so badly.

I'd be shocked if Nishikori wins 3 matches.
He could get Tsonga in Round 2.

Both Brayden Schnur and Filip Peliwo are into the semi-finals at the ATP Challenger event in Jerusalem following their respective quarter-final wins and we have a chance at an all-Canadian final.

Felix vs. Bash is about to get underway - Winner will play Benoit Paire in the Lyon final.

Oh boy, a combination of Basilashvili playing well and Felix spraying shots all over the court has the Georgian up a double break in the opening set.

Felix is not looking good so far today. Way too many errors and not locating the ball well at all on serve. He needs to get his head right pretty quick or this match will be in the books pretty quickly.

You can feel the tide turning in set #2. Felix now executing much better as well.

Pretty impressive from Felix coming back from love-40 down to hold and stay on serve. It could be the TSN turning point for this match.

Going to a third and deciding set as Felix takes set 2 in a tie-breaker (7-3 was the tie-breaker score). Felix now 12-4 in tie-breakers in 2019 which is incredible.

On to a third and deciding set for a place in the finals now. Felix is serving quite well now, its just a matter of keeping the intensity up after the tie breaker. Basilashvili is no slouch on clay. Winning this match from a set down would be a major shot across the board to the rest of the tour ahead of the French Open.

He's putting together a pretty amazing season. Statistically he's already grading out as a top 10 returner on tour, as a teenager. When his serve is going like it is now, he's pretty much on par with the typical top 10 players at this point (outside the big 3 of course).

All right, Felix breaks Basilashvili and is serving at 4-3 in set 3.

Felix one service hold away serving at 5-4 for a place in the final.
Edit: You can't slam the trunk any harder than that. Hold at love with a ace! Felix into the Lyon final.

Hopefully this trainer visit is nothing too serious....Some big time serves will be needed to close this match out now. Fantastic work by FAA today!
Edit: Now the second finals appearance of the year for the 18 year old! What a talent!
