Fantastic talent. I don't understand why he had to play backup in some of the games to Kolb earlier in the season. He can throw and run which a lot of QB's can't do.

Nantz is one of the best PBP guys in Football, Simms just adds nothing to the game in my mind.
This seems like prolonging the inevitable with the Eagles still at the 1.

Yup...you can hate the rule all you like but it was implemented a long time ago for good reason, and to take away the subjectiveness of it any contact to the head is illegal. That was a penalty by rule, and it cant be debated. The funny thing is the play right before the call was a worse infraction for the same thing IMO.

yeah the touch to the QB's head is actually one of the more consistent rules the NFL has.
