Hollingsworth in 3rd after the first run, Gough in 6th. I like the chances Hollingsworth has of a medal tomorrow.

Looks like Joubert is up next... To refresh peoples memories of who he is, maybe I should post some pics of him...
Apparently, he has two quads planned for tonight. He needs him, as he didn't do all that well on Tues.

I thought that this was a hilarious quote from the German skip who lost to Bernard's rink today, who doesn't think it fair that the crowd was cheering for Canada:
Quote:
|
"I don't think it's really fair the way they behaved today," said the veteran German skip, never one to mince words. "They never clapped when we made a good rock. They were noisy when we had to play important shots. On their last rock? You could hear everything it was quiet like no one was there. I think it's not really fair."

Joubert didn't manage either quad he had planned, falling on his perfectly sculpted buttocks for the first one and tripling the second one.
Interesting to hear all the talk about the quad and it being the defining jump for mens figure skating. You don't often hear too much smack talk going on in figure skating. It's also odd because Elvis Stojko got a lot of flack awhile back for basically saying the same thing.

I guess they'd much rather play infront of a empty stadium in Europe....

Is France any good at curling? Any threat in this game?

None whatsoever. France doesn't even have a single curling club according to Vic Rauter. I'm not even sure how they qualified if that is the case, lol.

Yeah I was wondering how France was there and not Finland. At least that Finn guy with the impossible name was a good curler...

I didn't think it was his time these Olympics but yes, he's got a bright future ahead of him, means good things for Canada.
He's currently in 1st with skaters still to go.

Ha, yeah apparently my question was answered pretty quick. Martin steals 3, then scores 5... 5! Wow.
