I dunno...I was kind of going ape-poop when he recovered, was jumped on, rolled-over, and then finally stripped of the ball.
Could not believe they allowed that play to go on.
Anyways, I put this solely on Williams (heck...why not). Ridiculous fumble that led the the FG. A clear drop that would have been a first down. Next drive TD.
Get rid of him. Seriously.

I guess the one positive out of this is we're still only one game behind Dallas, with a game to go against them.

I like Denver's chances next week at home. San Diego can't stop anyone.
I'm assuming Orton will play.

If it wasn't for the Raiders the Chiefs would have 2 wins in their last 32 games instead of their current total of 4! I think the Chiefs have now won 8 consecutive games in Oakland.

What a throw by Manning. Absolutely perfect. New England is going to waste a timeout on a review.
I mean, that's a great catch by Wayne, but the throw is just wow. Unbelievable.

Sean Payton deserved a punch in the head for his game management today, luckily the Rams were inept enough at the right times to lose. The Saints were really grinding today, and got a huge game from Reggie Bush, Stephen Jackson is a beast. 9-0.

The unoffcial end to the Seahawks season.
The team played desperate and Hasslebeck gave all he got. Unfortunately, it's not enough anymore, and wasn't enough in the first half when they had Arizona on the ropes.
When the team needed the leadership to pull through in the second half in the biggest game of the year, he was nowhere to be found, tossing passes behind, ahead, over, and short, capping it off with a typical throw into triple coverage.
Win today, like, to their credit, they've showed that they have the talent if they're gotten the ball, and they'd have been a game back of ARI...now 3 games back, and losing the tiebreaker, so essentially 4 games back of Ari.
Done.
Mora can now officially begin the long term QB evaluation, as that is painfully obviously the structural change needed to move the organization ahead. Unfortunatley there is no backup or 3rd stringer that can be better evaluated for potential. Wallace has shown in his 6 yerars that he may make the cut in in Wpg or Ham at best.
Barring some drastic current established QB becoming free in offseason, this has to be done in draft.
An unspectacular final 6 games, for both them and Den (Washington, seriously???) (SEA has their 1st rounder too) would allow them to take a flyer on said QB in addition to a safer hopefully high pick. Getting a better running game will help too (as shown in first half today), but getting/developing a leader on and off the field for the offense and the team in general, is vital to unlock the otherwise decent, and young roster on both sides of the ball.
This is a team that should win the NFC west without much issue, but a broken down QB who believes he's still in the upper echelon on NFL QB's, but instead is throing his arms up, shaking his head, and throwing off his chinstrap as he watches another bad pass fail, and a backup who's picked up his starter's bad habits and lack of direction.
Time for a fresh QB start next year, or the passing of the torch in the next couple years. Mora's new job depends on it for a team like SEA who does/has spent a lot of money on the roster and needs to be better then 6 or so wins in a season and can't wait for Hasselbeck or pay him any loyalty for what he did 4-5 years ago.

Man-oh-man... Broncos coming back down to earth.
I'm sure the Chargers will find a way to choke yet again, but the Broncos are trying their best to hand the division back to San Diego.

When exactly have the Chargers choked away their Division. For all the flack Norv Turner gets, the Chargers have been able to win a lot of games late in the season when they've needed to, as well as a three playoff wins in the past two years. They've been guilty of being a team who hasn't been as good as many expected them to be. But I can't call them chokers in the past couple years.

Well first, to be clear, I was referring to them choking away any chance of being more than the champion of the weakest (or second weakest) division in the NFL yet again.
The Chargers, with all their talent, have been extremely disappointing. Frankly, if the AFC West wasn't so damn weak the past few years, there would have been major changes in San Diego.
I refer to them as chokers much like I refer to the Sharks or frankly, the Flames. Tons of talent, lots of potential, high expectations and then they lay an egg when the games get tough (ie. not against the Chiefs, Broncos and Raiders 6 times a year).

Reggie Wayne doesn't even have to be open. That's twice tonight Manning's thrown perfect balls into excellent coverage to Wayne.

That "floating camera" that gives you views from behind Manning really shows how little of a window he has to get a ball in. Amazing.

and thats why you don't take your foot off the gas vs Indy. Garcon snags one and it's an 11 point game.

Wow, total lack of communication on that play resulting in another interception. The Colts can't afford to keep making mistakes.
