If the Jets were smart they would have moved on from Z Wilson and traded for Dobbs before the Vikings did. I know they're trying to make the former 2nd overall pick work but it isn't. And it's blatantly obvious. Wilson is a borderline backup QB at this rate, just has zero awareness in the pocket and is not reading the field correctly.

I will say though, in his defense there were a lot of dropped passes. Some by his terrible passing, but others were just dropped.

Wilson is part of the problem but last night there was a lot of self-inflicted wounds with all the pre snap penalties and holing calls that brought back some decent gains. The offensive line isn't that good and Allen Lazard is a mediocre 3rd WR so when he's your 2nd WR you have a lot of problems. That offense is kind of a mess.

As soon as the Jets gave up that punt return, it was game over. You just knew the Jets could not overcome that.

You can have the greatest scouts in football but if the two guys making the call are idiots nothing else matters. Ziegler didn't do anything to bring the operation forward and was fired because he was just as much a disaster as McDaniels. If you want to be a Raiders insider maybe you should learn a bit about them. Here's a good place to start as Barnwell discusses their mistakes one by one.

The two guys who dropped the McDaniel's and Pierce story.

Apparently Aaron Rodgers told Darwin James he will be back in a few weeks.

Rams going full tank now? Would be incredibly wise as they are in rough shape long-term and could use a QB of the future. Wentz is as good a tank commander as there is.

Insane to me that Rourke still doesn't get a shot even with the situation being what it is in several places around the league, especially LAR.

Rams are on bye this week, and McVay thinks Stafford is back next week. Wentz is an insurance option and has at least had success in the league. Rourke has had one good year in a vastly inferior league. There's nothing to suggest he's worth taking a risk on, other than playing well in preseason, which means dick all in the NFL.

Plenty of NFL teams have a Nathan Rourke on their practice squad. If the NFL really though he has starter potential they would have poached him from the Jags practice roster. He stuck out in the CFL because he has an NFL arm but pretty well every QB employed in the NFL has an NFL arm.

Rourke has very little playing experience on tape. Lacking a true developmental league guys like Rourke don't get much opportunity to play and improve being on practice squads. There's a reason this league is having a crisis at QB right now. Not enough guys with enough experience playing a pro style game.

All I know is what actual players say happened and what didn't happen. You seem to get easily sucked into believing what anyone on the internet posts as truth. Like I said before I'm a big Raiders fan. I know enough not to run with any story that breaks out around the team as there's a lot of fake news around teams by people desperately trying to get noticed on the internet as supposed insiders.

Easiest night of Bears fans recent history, they win no matter what. If they lose they improve their own draft position, if they win they improve their own draft position via the pick the own from Carolina.
