seeing the Cowboys fail is just way too satisfying.

Bills D looks great. Allen needs more weapons - no disrespect to Brown and Beasley, but those two shouldn't be your top options. But hats off to Beane and McDermott, they've done a good job rebuilding quickly.

McVay got all the buzz but IMO McDermott has done more with less in Buffalo. Also credit to their scouting department as they have drafted some really good defensive players in the last handful of drafts.

Buffalo has a lot of cap space too this summer and Allen is still rookie contract cheap. Gonna be interesting to see what they do.

Yeah, I like to grind on the Bills a bit for being the team who traded the Mahomes pick away.

I don't think Josh Allen is Mahomes, but they did find a way to draft a guy who is looking like he can be a starter in this league for some time. He certainly does look a lot better this year than last, and even through the season is looking much better.

Than again...I see Wentz, and Goff doing what they are for their contacts...maybe the Chiefs should just walk away from Mahomes too rather than cough up 42 million a year. Based on PFF valuations...Russel Wilson isn't playing up to his current contract this year. Build a spread offence, with weapons, and keep trucking out the rookies!

Goff was the ideal candidate to walk away from instead of paying, assuming McVay actually is an offensive guru. If for instance they drafted Minshew and traded Goff got a first rounder they are probably still 6-5 right now and not in cap hell and that Ramsey trade isn't as bad. The Redskins are basically the only team who did it with Cousins, and the argument is obviously pretty strong the Vikings make a mistake since they did better with Keenum at backup level money than Cousins at $28 million per.

Goff did well while Gurley was a top RB. Now teams don't have to respect the run as much and it's all gone downhill.

I also felt that he was extremely lucky last year because Cooks, Woods etc caught a ton of sub 50/50 balls. There were games where Goff was happily gunslinging into double and triple coverages and his receivers still came up with it.

Yeah watching the Rams I don't think too many teams that have ever relied on play action as much, and when you have the elite running threat play action works extremely well. I think though it's hard to underestimate how rare it is to have a QB who can basically just do his own thing. Guys like Mahomes, Rodgers, Ben, Favre who can just make it up as they go are pretty rare, which is why knocks like "system QB" are gonna odd. Almost all QBs need a structured system to succeed. The Rams will definitely be looking to draft a running back high this year because they need it to help Goff be his best.

A lot of fans get too caught up with what special QB's can do and expect that every draft is going to have a handful of those guys. It doesn't work that way. There is no guarantee the Bengals or Dolphins will land an elite QB in the 2020 draft. The odds are that they end up with a Winston or Mariota flawed QB.

Cowboys are setting up to repeat the Rams mistakes when they give Prescott and Cooper massive contracts as they will have a giant portion of their salary cap in a QB, RB, and receiver. Elliott is a great RB but he's not performed to his contract this season and there's little chance Prescott or Cooper (especially because he doesn't love the game) will perform up the the mega-deals Jones is going to give them.

Dallas also has more money committed to their offensive line than anyone else in Football...they still have a mediocre team. Typically any team that is strong on the offensive line will be able to move the ball.

Free-agent receiver Terrelle Pryor is in critical condition following surgery after he was stabbed Friday night at his apartment, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Allegheny District Attorney spokesman Mike Manko confirmed Pryor was the victim of a stabbing.

Pryor was stabbed in the chest and shoulder, according to the source.

The incident took place at the Heinz Lofts apartment complex in Pittsburgh, according to WTAE-TV.

An unidentified woman is in police custody, according to the station.

Pittsburgh Police said they are investigating after officers were called for a male stabbing victim who had walked into the hospital just after 4:30 a.m. ET. While police did not identify the man, a source confirmed to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler that this was Pryor.

Pryor, 30, entered the league in 2011 and has played with the Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.

He hasn't played this season after he was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars in September.

Steelers doing nothing with conventional offence, and are resorting to gadget plays. And of course the Browns are falling for it.

James Washington has been really good these past weeks. "Meh" rookie season, but he's showing a lot of promise. Diontae Johnson is still super raw though, he's made three stupid mistakes today. Glad the stupid penalty didn't cost them on this drive.

looks like Mayfield is good to go.
