I actually thought about using my double choice to do that, but I was scared I'd box myself in.

When I look at the first maze runner in death match four I thought it was the same thing where one path was more intuitive for how a human would solve a maze.

The only bit of strategy I used here was not to get ahead of you when we were in the same area but that only worked because you got trapped on my side

yeah I really didn't want to move ahead of you and clear the path for you, but at some point, I felt I had no other option left

Yeah, if that was successful it would have turned the match. But he didn't have a way to get back without revealing too many walls near my finish area.
