I personally like Chicharito but he wasn't exactly good in the EPL or at Real. He's having a nice run in the Bundesliga, but that league is kind of a joke.

It's kind of revisionist to pretend he was having anything going and was sold regardless. And this is coming from someone who has a Chicharito Real jersey

The Chicharito thing still amazes me. Sell him because "he's not good enough", then let Fellaini and Young play as strikers. Unbelievable stuff. At least Mourinho will let players play in their actual position.
That one never made sense.

All that kid did was score goals, if I am not mistaken he has one of the best goals per minutes played ratios in the history of the Premier League.

Then they just sold him. Was the perfect guy that could start some games for you but also deadly coming off the bench to poach goals late in games.

No idea why they sold him, and for only 8.75M

Moyes and van Gaal never knew how to use him, but Chicharito was excellent under Ferguson. 33 PL goals over 3 years plus some important goals in the Champions League, despite having to fight for playing time against Rooney and Berbatov and then van Persie and Welbeck. A guy you could use in the starting lineup, but he'd also sit on the bench as a joker without throwing a tantrum. Ferguson valued him really highly.

The Real loan never made any sense, and selling him after getting rid of van Persie and Falcao was stupid too. Glad he's doing well at Leverkusen.

Well, if he isn't sold, they will both be on the bench for most of the season I imagine, so could happen.

Good thing we're not asking you seeing as he's Mexican...

:P
Bundesliga and Ligue 1 phhhhtttt
Mourinho and Ibra for that matter will be a problem. They don't fit ManU at all.

Hernandez is another version of Inzaghi - who was another guy who never seemed to get enough respect as a goal poacher.

Then you'd look at his career stats and see that all he did was score no matter where he played.

It appears that its funnier than that though, according to this article its his image and signature that Chelsea own: http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36382637

I would have and still would take Chicharito in a heartbeat.

next year is going to be a throwback

the Manchester games are going to be feistier than normal because of the managers involved, Chelsea/Tottenham games may be a warzone

So the FA is restructuring the FA Cup by removing replays after the Quarterfinals. I presume that means they'll just be going to extra time and penalties.

A look back at The Guardian writers' predictions for the 2015/2016 season. To give a bit more perspective to what Leicester achieved.
