There has been two times this has been posted on Calgary puck. The first was long since signed off poster Wookie, before the 04 playoffs.. And now today. Well done pylon, you've now tied my favourite post ever.

Thanks all, our basement is undeveloped so not a huge deal. However we didn't have a chance to move some stuff up, so it is probably ruined. But hey, it's just stuff.

I loved fleury as a kid
I hated him when he was on the rangers
I loved him when he came back and had the pre-season shootout winner
I dislike him again.
The guy has a flare for the dramatic. There are better ways of alerting the cops to something like this, all he did was send panic into an already uneasy public. If the police deem it to be tweet worthy, leave that to them.
Calgarypolice own twitter account agrees:

Everyone, take note of this attitude. Emulate!

There are a few videos on the link below from my flood watch shift today. I had the south Bow so it's around Ivor Strong and Fish Creek. Should have a few tomorrow too.
I always take the "gouging" tweets and fb posts with a grain of salt, since they're always from a "friend of a friend" and rarely have anything because a bunch of circumstantial evidence.

We should get a list of these businesses going, but first of all, we need to verify. Queensland's accusers have a photo, but Petro-Canada's and Home Depot's accusers do not. (that I am aware of)
*Edit* Looks like there is a pic of the Home Depot price here: http://ow.ly/i/2qegV Seeing that it is Dasani, maybe its an unadjusted price.
I am so pissed at some of my idiot relatives. Got an aunt (in law) in Victoria insisting her family was evacuated to the Saddledome and that 'yes they are there! they did not leave, they are still there!' even though we've all explained to her that if they're in the 'dome, they're dog paddling. Nope - still insisting they are there. I may have quite disrespected my elders today.
My mom's brother insisted on driving all the way down from Fairview to Turner Valley to get to her and my uncle that live there. Why the fata for? They're fine - their homes are way at the top of Sunset Blvd, way up the freaking hill. I kind of ripped him a new one - idiot. Inserting yourself into an area already under incredible strain, using resources needed for actual residents and adding another body in possible harm's way. Keep your stinking ass at home, dearest uncle. Essential travel only. Your trip here? Not essential. Get the fata out and go the fata home and stay there.

Hotel's prices usually scale depending on occupancy don't they? Maybe it's automagic and someone would have to actually think to go in and stop the prices from changing as the hotel neared capacity? EDIT: Don't doubt the price increase, just saying the motivation might be inferred rather than actual.
