The best thing you can do is to NOT CALL your insurance company right away. You have up to 1 year to complete your claim, so if it is just minor denting and the vehicle is still drivable, don't call in.
Everyone moron and their dogs are calling in panicking over a few bloody dents.
Ernie from DNT was just in here surveying the damage, and when he walked past my office, I was posting in this thread and showed it to him. I managed to set up a discount for CP'ers.
Mention the code "pucker" and he will give you 10% off.
If you can't get through to the phone, email him and he will set up a time to survey the damage.
Thanks pylon. I'd give him a call but based on my past experiences with auto body work, I'd venture I have about 10k worth of damage to my car. I'm guessing I would just be wasting his time with an estimate.
Based on some of the stories I have heard today, I am assuming alot of people will ahve to go the body shop route. This will be more for the people that have 20 or 30 dings on their car.
I think a big question in all of this will be where were the Weather Modification cloud seeders? Because I was out driving I didn't have access to their radar but BA told me on the phone that they weren't out. That is very unusual. In fact, in the past week or so I haven't seen them out on any cells - I was thinking the tracking they use for the planes on the radar must be out.

CFCN news this evening mentioned they were out and that "the storm/hail would have been even worse otherwise."
Negative, parts of the SW (the west in this case) got absolutely owned.
I know Strathcona all the way down to Westbrook/Spruce Cliff got golf ball+ sized ones.
I'm in Shaganappi (area north of Killarney), and while I wasn't home, it sure doesn't look like there was anything significant. We have petals on all our flowers and our streets don't look much like a war zone whereas I biked home through Sunalta and I was riding on leaf and twig covered streets.
3 of my cousins car got pelted pretty hard, 2 of my cousins cars got their windows shattered, and they all got have alot of golf ball sized dents on their cars.
I guess since the word comes from the Biblical city of Sodom where homosexuality was apparentely the sin that caused God to destroy them, you could assume blowjobs were part of that but you're right. Nobody thinks of the term that way anymore.
Sodomy wasn't the reason for God destroying the city...it's actually got more to do with hospitality, believe it or not.
That was intense today. You could really see it coming for a while, and when it hit, it hit hard!! The hail where I was wasn't too bad, pea sized maybe. I've heard of a lot of people who need repairs or new body parts though. Another option if anyone needs replacements as opposed to repairs is probodyparts.com, good prices.

Yeah, next time you have two male friends visting Calgary, you have to make sure they are available to be sodomized by the rest of the town out of hospitality first. You can't even offer you two virgin daughters instead. Has to be the dudes.
