I hate to take away Trojans pick because so far he's been pretty on the ball.

Agreed, I'm just giving him a hard time. I'll be around for a bit, playing a little afternoon guaranteed tourney on FT, so no sweat.

Especially since he traded for the pick. That being said, it has to be Patrick Robinson here doesn't it?

Yeah, I thought he might go with a corner with that first pick. Running back, and Corner stand out to me as the two biggest needs for the Texans, and he's addressed the running back.

Okay, well he's had double the time allowed. Patrick Robinson?

Yeah, we better get going or round two may not finish. Patrick Robinson is who he gets.

With the 38th Pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns are proud to select, from South Florida:
FS Nate Allen
Browns need some secondary help, and Allen is a coverage specialist. 6-2, 205, and some good numbers in his senior season. A pick from positional need, but the Browns are still getting a great prospect.

One of the reasons why I toyed with the idea of not taking Berry in Round 1 was that I figured a guy like Allen would be there for me in round two. If they can't get Eric Berry with their first pick I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them go this direction.

My apologies for holding things up today. Got stuck running back and forth to the hospital today for a friend and am only now getting a moment to sit down.
The Patrick Robinson pick is good enough. The Texans won't take him because they're so anal about drafting "good guys" and his involvement in the academic cheating scandal at FSU likely disqualifies him from Houston taking him.
Kareem Jackson is who I was gunning for as he fits exactly what the Texans like: multiple year starter, good leader, experience at a good school under great coaching. He's not as "sexy" a pick as Robinson but has much less risk factor IMO.
Anyways, I appreciate you guys going ahead and making my pick. Sorry for slowing things up.

Well...if you guys are fine with it, we can go back a couple picks and give Jackson to the Texans, than if Ro wants he can put Robinson back on his board and determine if he wants that player. I don't mind doing it since it really only affects one pick, and it does appear that Trojan97 did indeed have a good reason for not getting to his pick.

Okay, the Texans have Kareem Jackson. Ro, let us know if you want to change your pick.
As for the Raiders...take Tony Pike and his big arm here and put my man Jamarcus out to pasture. At least Tony won't tip the scale at 3 bills for a couple years.

Tony Pike? McCoy is a way better option IMO, reminds me way too much of Drew Brees.

Umm...this is the Raiders here. Colt McCoy is too small and can't throw a ball 70 yards with both knees on the ground. The Raiders could care less if the guy can play, they want a circus freak with a cannon arm.
Colt McCoy would be better suited to a West Coast style offence, and a team who know what they're doing.

Syl, your Raider sarcasm has brought joy and laughter to my life the last 9 months. THANK YOU!
