Ya true. Well when you are done stalking me, let me know. Pretty scary that to prove a point someone would spend 30 minutes searching the site to find out my real name. Yikes! If you want some pictures for your spank bank keep looking you freak.
Didn't Lionel Ritchie (forgive me) have a way better "stalking" song? Can't think of it,something to do with a telephone, just remember the lyrics being unintentionally funny.
I have a suggestion for you, but it would get me banned or at least an infraction. Use your imagination
I have an idea, say it... or don't present empty threats. We all know people who are pro-Jets in this thread are not liking HOOT very much right now. That's the third empty threat in this thread, and really saying that you could say something but you're scared of being banned as both a) just as bad as saying that thing that can get you banned, b) kinda weak.
HOOT is going to be HOOT. Like it, or ignore it... you're not going to change it.
We used to call him "Red Light Rick" back in the early 90's when he played for the Jets. I still haven't forgiven John Paddock for benching Bob Essensa in favor of Tabbi during the 92 Playoffs against the Canucks. Brutal decision, and I don't think Essensa's confidence was ever the same, considering he was a Vezina Trophy runner up that season.
That name brings me back.
I can't believe our goalie duo in 1997-98 were Rick Tabaracci and Dwayne Roloson. Ugh...the dark years.
Trevor Kidd and Jeff Reese?

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
After a long discussion with National Hockey League commissioner Gary Bettman last Friday, Quebec premier Jean Charest says he believes the NHL will return to Quebec City.
According to the premier, Bettman is "sincere" and wants to see a franchise return to the former home of the Nordiques. Charest noted that the "planets are aligned" in such a way that the profitability of a new professional team is no longer a question for him.
Charest said he explained to the commissioner that the long-term goal was to have the Olympic Games held in Quebec City and that world-class sports infrastructure was part of that plan.

Wow, Charest and Bettman in the same room - I'm surprised the "sincerity" didn't burst the boardroom...
I don't believe that. You look around the league and 1/3 of the league is selling below 15,000 average attendance, the problem for Winnipeg is they would have to fill it every night, they couldn't 'make up' attendance on the bigger games.
But they don't have the corporate money or the population to even fill the building every night because if they didn't they would just lose their team again in a decade.
I know one of the building/Moose owners. 3 teams have approached them and the city since the lockout. 2 were mildly serious one very. The challenge is that they need to average $100 a ticket for the 15,000 seats.
The box issue is less a concern as they are pretty full right now and most have committed verbally to the concept of paying more if a NHL team arrived.
The kicker is how an NHL team arrives. Is it bought and owned by a local consortium as in Calgary and once Edmonton or is it partially owned? The structure of True North S & E is that they make money from everything coming through the building. Having an NHL team is great for them but not if it is owned as a separate entity. Right now, to date any potential moves to Winnipeg are held up by the fact that the NHL franchise needs to be held under the True North Banner and no deal has been able to be structured that way.

He might not have been very good but I was always a big fan of Rick, and I seem to remember him being a fan favorite almost as much as Freddy Brathwaite a couple of years later. We didn't have that much to cheer about back in those days of course, so we made the best of what we were given.
Tabby might not have been good, but nobody really expected him to be. Trevor Kidd was a constant disappointment and reminder of one of the biggest mistakes the franchise ever made. For that reason alone, he's my most disliked Flames goalie. That and the guy seemed like a total tool.
No, I meant that Kidd and Reese were darker years...
