Sorry I couldn't make it on last night. How about tonight for ps3 users? I played a bit of multiplayer, wow!!! Some guy in a dirt bike was destroying me, haha. I couldn't catch him or snipe him, so much fun.

Unfortunately I'm out this weekend. My wife has been house-sitting for her sister all week, which is why I've been able to log many many (many) hours. This weekend I'm staying there though, and something tells me greeting her with a hug whilst holding a ps3 wouldn't go over too well.

Last night was fun, only got to kill Rhettzky a few times though.

No, I think I dropped out right as that was starting. I ended up in my own game just so I could get a layout of Liberty. I think I have a good idea of where everything is now.

Is it just me, or are the servers really small? It's up to 16, but the most I've seen is 8 in a server. I'd love to fill a bus up and do some suicide jumps.

hahaha ya that would be cool.

at one point my bus hit a fire hydrant and the water was holding the bus and a car up in the air for like 30 seconds LOL

i just had the most epic failure of a mission thus far. was trying to do the one with with the Irish guy where you steal a truck from the docks, and i thought i could get a nice jump on the mafia guys by using some moltov cocktails from my hiding place on the roof. but my first throw was too short, moltov hit the edge of the roof setting me on fire, Nico starts screaming and rolling around, he rolls off the roof smacking into the pavement below, and the mafia guys proceed to riddle my flaming corpse with a hail of bullets. not exactly my proudest moment in the game

oh and for how much Saints Row was labeled a GTA knockoff, GTA4 sure took a lot of good ideas from it, the cell phone and full map with GPS being the biggest things. that's the one issue i have with all the reviews raving about the innovative cellphone feature, it's nothing new and it wasn't even their idea

Well, that's the ridiculous marketing budget doing it's job.

The combat is Saints Row is way better than GTA IV as well. I still don't see how this game is the "best ever" from so many reviewers when it doesn't even blow everything in it's own genre away.

Great game, but it's officially turned me off from any online game review. There's so much money being thrown around in games these days you're digging your own grave giving a GTA IV or a Halo 3 a less than perfect review.

so saints row invented the cellphone and GPS systems? interesting....

The original PS1 GTA's had payphones ... seems more like keeping up with technology to me.

great game, about 30 % in, havn't tried online yet...

anyone who is in storymode, there are a few people who you can decide if they live, die... I have let them all live so far, anyone kill them off?

I never actually played saints row. It's funny, the cell phone and gps features were two of the things I found actually original! Knowing that saints row did it first further makes me question why more people aren't calling the game out for lack of originality.

For ps3 users, if your game is freezing, apparently signing out of the psn fixes the problem for many people. I'm sure a fix is forthcoming. Anybody else remember the good old days when games were shipped 100% complete and tested?
