Damn.

35 seconds from perfection, and it wasn't meant to be.

Back to back Mannings.

Great ending, but shouldn't Brady have played it safe and moved to field-goal range instead of trying to win it all with a Hail Mary pass?

Great game by the Giants....they deserve it.

I wonder how much problem that ankle sprain was for Brady.

Great season though....guess we'll hear about those Dolphins for a few more years.

So, can Dolphins still pop the champagne? I mean they're the only team to have a PERFECT season.

Going undeafeated in the season for Pats means nothing if you don't win the big game.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Wow. Stunning.

Congrats to the Giants.

They were the best team in the playoffs.

NE had many chances on the NY's last drive to end the game, but the ball slipped through their hands 3-4 times. That crazy play where Manning escaped the sack will be long remembered.

Both teams played their guts out.

Wonder if Bill wishes he went for the FG in the first half now?

Back to the drawing board for NE.

Next year - the rise of the Browns!

Unreal, the Giants D-line dominated the Pats O-line and that was the difference. Also, the defense "bending" at the end was brutal. What the hell was harrison doing on that 35 yard broken play!

UGH. Oh well, it's going ot be hard to duplicate this again, but I'm sure the patriots will try again next year.

Since this play I've been scouring the net for a clip of a throw Elway made in Seattle in the early 90's. Similar escape and bomb only his receiver wasn't covered and it went for a TD. The Eli play reminded me of it so much, but alas...can't find it.

Pretty much had to get it that far down to get within field goal range. A chuck to Moss was their best chance.

What a game though. Earlier on ESPN Erik Eslias (sp?) was talking about if the Giants were going to win this one - they would need "a play" - one of those moments that would go down in history as one of the top Super Bowl moments of all time.

That play by Eli definitely fits that description. Unreal.

I don't know...they should've just let the second tick off....there was no reason to snap the ball again. I don't blame him for going out on the field.

I'm not a Pats fan. I was rooting for them a bit but I had no vested interest in this game. In fact, I hadn't even planned on watching it.

You know the fins will and they will say the exact same thing you pointed out.

But I consider what the Pats did this year just as good as the 72 dolphins season.
