Heroes Season 2 Discussion (Mark Spoilers)

Oh my f'ing frig. What a great bloody episode!!! I cannot believe how fast they turned this all around! I dont even know where to start. Just friggin great. Like Jiri said, the darkness is back and the lame soap opera stuff is gone. Ugh, I hope that the writers strike doesnt quash the rest of this season, this is just awesome TV.

eit: Oh and Sylar, line one please. Sylar line one. The fact that he is still out there makes how all this will end ever more interesting. Love it.

Three awesome episodes in a row. It kinda makes you wonder how it fell off the tracks so badly. Kring obviously cracked some skulls, but I'm surprised he let it get as bad as it did.

Next episode looks awesome again. Claire vs. Elle, Peter vs. Hiro, should be awesome.

best episode of the season by far. Thank goodness we didn't have to put up with those stupid panamanians?? Hopefully those 2 just disappear. Sylar can eat them at the begining of the next episode.

Great episode tonight, called Claire's father getting her blood though. I betcha that's how the disease spreads to the mainstream population (people w/o powers) though.

Not really sure who's good and bad anymore....only person who I know is good is Hiro.

How do you defeat Adam if you can't kill him? The infection?

Oh, and Parkman's power is AWESOME now!

One wonders if they had some "studio notes" from NBC for the beginning of the year. The problems with the show were all the type of things that you'd expect the studio to want to do to attract a wider audience.

First - love the Hero's show. Great job. We just have a few comments that we think can make it better.

Can you give Clarie a boyfriend? The kids love the romantic sub plot and we want more screen time for her. What a perfect way than to give her a boyfriend! Here's an idea: give him some powers too. Maybe he could fly? You don't have someone that can do that already do you?

Oh while you're at it.

The show is a little dark. Don't get me wrong - we love the dark tone - but some of our focus group feedback is that its a little "too dark". Maybe just make a little less brooding at times. Do characters have to be killed off so often? And Hiro - he's such a funny guy! We like funny! More funny from Hiro!

Speaking of Hiro.

What if we kept him back in Japan for like half the season! Oh an give him a girlfriend too! That would be great! Just makes sure he has a lot of reaction shots too!

Oh and one more thing:

Can we have a mexican gal that cries? We think that will get us the much coveted Emo crowd. By the way - what the heck is "Emo". We don't even know - but our sales deparatment keeps talking about it so we want some of it.

Did you see the NBC preview? You will see Sylar very soon...

The pacing has been off all season. Slow and tedious early on, and now 100 MPH to make up for it. I'm loving the new episodes, but I wish it could have been balanced better.

I'm very leery of Parkman and his character developments. He still seems like a great guy, but he never makes good choices when he's confronted with hard choices.

Something I just thought of since I was wondering how you stop Adam aside from the Infection. Couldn't Parkman control Adam? If so why was his father so afraid of Adam, how come he couldn't control him?

well it seems like Parkman's power hurts the person he's trying to coerce if they really don't want to do what he wants, so maybe Adam's healing ability prevents any damage that Parkman or his dad could do to his brain thus negating his power

Holy freaking hell. Hiro is BACK! The Claire storyline finally took a turn for the better - now less high school drama, more action.

Is Parkman going to turn evil? Ooooo, and who's that lady that doesn't want to be found? Is she even more powerful than them all but is just trying to control it?

Who saved HRG! What's he going to do!?

Does anyone know what powers Hiros dad and Peters mom have? I have been wondering about this forever and for the life of me cannot pin down anything for either of them.

Finally this show is back on track, but it only has 2 espisodes left. Yesterday was jammed with action and some interesting cliffhangers. I don't really know who is good or evil anymore like some posters have indicated on here. I can't wait for next week's espisode.

or what power hiro's dad has. He said he's never time travelled before so it's not that.

You can probably defeat Adam the same way Claire and Peter died that one time. Just take out part of his brain by lodging an object in there that it can't grow around or decapitate him. My guess is they didn't kill him back in the day, because they were liberal hippy types. They initially started off w/ great intentions, but got carried away blah blah blah....

I'm not even sure about Hiro. What if Adam is the one who is good? Hiro could then get carried away w/ revenge and try to stop him.

I think there may be no people w/ bad intention here (well besides Sylar). I think everyone else might be trying to do the right thing but using different means. It results in too much infighting and lack of cooperation, either allowing the virus to escape on its own or leaving an opening for Sylar. Although it does seem a little obvious that Sylar would be the source of yet another catastrophe.
