I guess... To me it just seems like to get a Red you have to do something really special which is good, don't get me wrong but to get a blue, you just have to fart sideways.
In time no doubt the system will work out.

Has the blue skill level at which a person gets a "temporary reprieve" from the boards been determined yet?

I was just going to ask something similar to above... if I get gets a 3,4,5 blue does he get a temporary bye bye? If it's that obvious he is bringing nothing relevant to the board, a wave good-bye certainly wouldn't be out of the question.

We haven't reached that point yet but yeah if someone gets to a specific level of blue then we'd review and discuss things to see if any action need to be taken.

Alright we don't want discussion around other people's skill level or it to be used against them, just like post count. Thanks.

Just a thought, how about positive feedback for trustworthy Sales on the Buy/Sell board? Has this been thought of or discussed?
I've been selling alot of my tickets this year without meeting people most of the time, i've met showtime a few times due to selling tickets and have played hockey with him even.
How about skill for making honest/smooth transactions? I know if I was a buyer i'd rather buy from someone with Red skill than Blue.

Has anybody ever questioned you about being trustworthy? I just figured what you've been putting in your posts has been fine.

Not me because I have guidelines, but say someone posted something I was interested in, someone I wasn't very familiar with and had a blue box next to their name, I personally would hold off completely on making an offer.

True, but I don't think that the buy/sell is a big enough part of the site to warrant that. Post count almost accomplishes the same thing, as does searching the person to see if they've had any successful transactions in the past.

The reputation system has been in effect for some time now. Can you (photon) provide us with any kind of statistics as to how many users are in the blue, how many in red, the most of each colour, etc.?
I've tried looking in the Member List but reputation isn't formatted the same way as in the rest of the forums. Just a rough guess but it looks like about 81 posters are in the red and about 49 are in the blue. And all out of about 5057 users, right? Also, of these 5057 users is there any way to tell how many of them have posted anything in the last few months?
The reason I'm asking is that it seemed at first that the blue rep points were much easier to come by and reds were harder to get. The brief review of the Member List seems to suggest otherwise. It would be interesting to know how many "active" posters have escaped the purgatory of gray rep...

I would also think if a member here was dishonest in the buy and sell transactions they'd be outed here pretty quick.
