Hughs said they went down to the wire on a trade that they couldn't get over the finish line but it could be done in the summer. Maybe it was Coleman but looking for retention?

I think everyone always knew that Murray would allow Conroy to retain, that Murray is a hands off owner who lets his hockey guy do what is best for the team and that it was just a process. Nobody randomly started freaking out based on internet bull####. It was a good process for all fans.

I would say such as well. Murray is a smart buisnness man. CNQ is a very strong company. He may have meddled under previous GMS, but I mean look who we had running the ship.

Big bad bully ownership has retained. Again. On 3 players not playing for this team.
Hopefully that silly and totally misguided narrative can be put to rest once and for all, but it won’t.

Max Curran might be a good get. 6'3, 19 year old center.

i'm optimistic because it says "part of the package" is a 2018 first.
Meaning there could be more...?

Look at recent President's Trophy winners: - 2023 Boston best regular season ever: 2 years later, bottom 5 finish
- 2024 Rangers: Miss playoffs next season, likely bottom 5 finish the following year
- 2025 Jets: Likely bottom 6 finish the next season
The 2028 first could be a good one.

He was having a fine year for the Oil Kings before he got injured. I thought he played well at the World Juniors as well.
