Conroy took this team into a rebuild. He stopped negotiating with Lindholm in November of that year. He stopped negotiating with Zadorov. Hanifin was on the fence as he was still young enough. Conroy has been very consistent about this since he took over, and I bet he took over as a GM stating that this team needs a rebuild. Here we are.
