I’m not condemning the organization, I’m just saying there are similarities between those two players inside this organization. I think coaching is massively important to player development - that’s all. I don’t like how the youth has been held to a certain standards that the veterans haven’t, and that tossing young players around the line-up doesn’t look to be an effective way to build the player.

Who are the vets that haven't been held to a certain standard?
I'm asking this question honestly b/c I don't really understand the POV. First, I think veterans are given more runway but when I look at the Flames I see:
Backlund/Coleman: Solid this season.
Huberdeau/Kadri: Leading the way offensively.
Frost: Has been moved around a lot. Not sure if we are counting him as a vet or younger player
Farabee: has been solid, just can't finish chances. But no reason to scratch him or anything.
Kirkland: has been scratched
Yegor: Has been scratched
Lomberg: i would agree that he could be sat down if that's one of the examples.
Who are the vets that we are talking about?
