Um ok... they probably will. However, take a step back and look at the big picture, you're talking about putting a ####ty player with McDavid so they will look better - great plan! How about trying to acquire GOOD players to play with McDavid instead? Ever think of that?

Everybody knows you can have 10 crap forwards on the Oilers, and they will all play on McDavid's line and get good numbers doing it. Great success!

NMCs are just easy throw-ins for Oilers contracts. What teams are they going to put on the list? They're already in Edmonton so there's nowhere to go but up.
