The Jets are done! Forwards are playing terrible, defense are playing terrible, goalie is beyond terrible. And the coach doesn't seem to know what to do now.

Of course the Jets are starting to stink it up. I was just looking at the playoff brackets the other day and thinking to myself that of the teams in the hunt, I might be least offended by the Jets doing well....

I agree. It's hard to win the playoffs when your goaltender can't even get to 850. I'm sorry, what is it that you're saying here exactly?

That I'm not sold on the Jets. I think they are a pretender.
I look at that roster and I do not believe it is one of the best ones in the west. Just my opinion.

They've been the best team in the league in the regular season the last two years when you add them together. I think they were fourth overall last year and the first overall this year. I don't know how you can be a pretender for two years. Just a bizarre take.

Regular season is regular season bruv.
Doesn't mean #### if you turn into first round fodder every year.
Just says that the choking is in the teams DNA. I thought it would be different this year too. But the cracks in the armor are showing again.

And thus the 'God mode' comment.
During the regular season, Helly is the best goalie in the league, and thus the Jets are regular season champs.
But in the playoffs, he turns off God mode and the Jets, not really built for the playoffs, are an easy opponent.

Your best chance at winning in this day and age, in the playoffs, is through skill and speed. After witnessing an epic collapse last playoffs it showed they couldn’t skate that great against the faster teams who were walking around them. They didn’t address it this year and couldn’t because their core isn’t speedy. The Caps are pretty similar. Both those teams are pretenders. They should still win the first round, but St Louis seems to be a well rounded shut down team.
