The Avs are a powerhouse, getting a win was probably never in the cards. It's not getting any easier with the Leafs next.

Energy??? Intensity?

The very least of their problems!
They look like they were told pre-game that they're an inferior team and their only hope is to execute a flawless, structured, defensive-minded game and let the Avs come to them, and hope to score on a PP or something.

Then the shackles came off after the 2-0 goal and they finally were allowed to push the pace and ####ing play.

Just what it looks like. And it's probably not far from the truth.

A high energy first shift here for the Flames would go a long way

This team just kinda sucks.

Wolf just hides so many warts. Hanley playing 20+ mins a night? Jesus Christ, healthy scratch on at least 25 other teams.

That’s ignoring game effects. Two goal leads being dangerous is a cliche for a reason

The Avs have lost a lot of games this season.

Not like it's a once in a blue moon occurrence. Flames just seem to play them like freshly neutered dogs for some reason.

Andersson a simple miss. Unreal. Fine, no goals but deserve one or two with a bit of luck.

And its you’re not your.
Im sure Huska realises this team isn't capable of scoring, so the defensive system is to support the defense and goaltender, leading to more 1 goal games and lower GF.

If he coached this team to play like the Oilers or Avalanche they are a bottom 5 team. You lean into your strengths to get wins.

You can't just create goals without players who can score.

They lost a lot of games before they fixed their goaltender problem
