Bumping this thread out of curiosity. Did we find out who was interested in Kadri? And any details on what the offers looked like?
I really don’t know what Kadri could return. If he had 1-2 years left on his deal, I think he could easily return a protected first round pick. But his term at his age could be a tough one for other teams to pay a premium for.
If the avalanche weren’t in such a tough spot cap-wise, I think they would be the obvious choice. Would be tough to make that work for them though I think. Plus I understand that Kadri apparently likes it in Calgary.
