I think those 5 points in 3 games were a mirage for Huberdeau. He is back to overthinking everything. He only had a third of the net wide open and he chooses to pass…. Unbelievable.

Falling back to their old bad habits from last year and it doesn't work. Minus that last play by Huberdeau trying to connect with Coleman they are back to this shoot from the outside or the point with F all for a screen. Hill is going to have an easy night if that continues. That game against Dallas they were working the puck to the high danger places, guys getting in the slot for great opportunities. Now they regress back to throw it back to the point for a long shot the goalie sees all the way. I hate it.

I think the whole team needs to just stop thinking about exactly where the puck is going and just shoot it on net. The shooting % can’t slide much lower and we’ll generate more rebounds
