Well, for the first time since Larsson, the Oilers actually have a single actual d-man.
Of course they had to move out the only guy on the back end capable of moving the puck forward, which they really rely on for their fast transitions.
Considering their whole system is 'just try to score more, who cares if we give up 5' I'm not sure if this move really suits their team. Like Larsson, I think Eckholm could struggle being literally the only guy defending
Oilers got better on paper but I don't think it moves the needle at all
