Yeah I never understood the narrative about Sutter teams not being ready to start games off. The Flames have taken a lot of leads this year. The issue has been with how many game-tying goals they've given up, which is the direct opposite of not being prepared for puckdrop.

What’s Lucic stat line since joining Huberdeau and Kadri? Seems they been doing alright but probably not the long term solution but cool to see Looch contribute, he’s a stand up guy

Yeah, despite the comments from last game (when they definitely weren’t), this year their starts have generally been positive. Tonight wasn’t great but overall, prep has been fine.

Just a thought, but why don’t they try Zadorov with Tanev? I feel like Weegar should be producing more offensively if he’s got Tanev watching his back meanwhile Zadorov has consistently been pushing offensively all season. Could it unlock a bit more help from the back in those 1 goal games?

the fan created package was kyrou, 1st, prospect
that would've been a dreamy return, but I'm 100% positive we haven't yet seen the best of huberdeau and weegar for this team either and we'll have some good times with them before all is said and done
