I'd like to thank the Senator for keeping the faith alive I kept watching and Chargering delivered.

I mean even if it missed the Chargers were offside, that would make this even more Chargering

That's a whole new level of Chargering. When I was watching the first half I was thinking back to that epic Chiefs collapse. Saw it again.

Crazy game.

Flag was thrown for offsides. So it was a freebie kick.

And no one should escape blame here for the Chargers, it's not all on Staley. Herbert wasn't good enough, they didn't run it well at all, playcalling was atrocious, defense stopped playing in the second half (tackling in particular was terrible). But destiny is destiny, even if they were up 45-0 at halftime they are the Chargers, it was always written in the stars.

If there was a penalty on the two point (like a false start or a hold), would they have had the choice to kick the convert?

I’m usually a fan of going for two especially when you only have to go a yard but risking making a field goal meaningless is crazy risky to me.

Yes if there was an offensive penalty they can go back and kick a 38 yard EP. But even if the Jags got stopped for the 2, does anyone really think the Chargers are stopping them from getting a TD? Chargers were finding a way to lose this no matter what.

It was a ballsy call from Pederson. I honestly wouldn’t have done it even in Madden.

No shocker here, but that's the first time in NFL playoff history a team lost with a +5 turnover margin.

Well, after what happened in the Vikings-Colts game, none of us should really be caught by surprise that something like this could happen.

And yet, I was.

Congrats to the Jags. Have fun getting dismantled by the Chiefs though.

When I was watching it live I couldn't believe it! NFL has had so many classic games this year.

Jags have won three games this year from 17 down, whoever plays them next week might want to play full throttle until the end of the game.

The probability of scoring from the 1 yard line is higher than the probability of winning a game once you've gotten to OT. So playing for the outright win instead of the tie is the correct move there.

Yes, that is true but, if they kicked the convert, if and when they got the ball back, they still could have won with a TD without going to OT. They just would have had the FG as a fall back in case they had to march a long ways down the field.
