^^^ You don't know until you've lived through that hellscape. I'd rather deal with the 115 degrees in Arizona than 90 degrees in Florida, because that humidity never gives up. It doesn't matter how many air conditioners or dehumidifiers you have, that humidity is always trying to take your breath away. Florida is a wonderful place to visit but living there is just ugly. And that doesn't include having to deal with the people you're surrounded by. Ugh!

Also MacKinnon still under 7m in his final year before free agency and Crosby under 9m in his contract. Those are the types of players you pay the big money to. That’s why so few teams wanted Gaudreau, they just don’t want to give those big deals to guys they doubt can win it for them.

I think Tkachuk wanted big money but also wanted to be away from hockey crazy media if his performance is not good. You know he will be always be under microscope here and we will demand him to be top performer with that kind of salary.
