I gotta say that Jake Oettinger reminds of Canadiens legend Ken Dryden when he played as a rookie goaltender against the mighty Bruins in the first round of the 1971 playoffs. Stoned the Bruins with his stellar play.
Thankfully it doesn't look like he's going to steal a series victory like Dryden did in 1971.

True, but the entire Dallas game plan is to stifle the flames and hope they get a bounce. Hard to play against. But I think they’ve cracked it. Time to end this

I will not be confident that the Flames can close this out until they’re up 3 with less than a minute to go.
They need to keep bringing the pace. Dallas can’t keep up when a couple lines are rolling.
Oettinger has been absolutely brilliant, the main reason why the series was even. But Markstrom tonight may have taken the “better goalie” title for the series. The two stops on Pavelski were unbelievably clutch against the guy who’s been poison for the Flames.
Markstrom has been magnificent, let’s hope he’s gone one more dominant performance left in him and the Flames can close this out in Dallas. I do not want a game 7 at all.

Damn this Flames team is so much more resilient now than the last time they played Dallas in the playoffs. Lewis is clutch in the playoffs.
