Valimaki had a couple of games I was not impressed by (probably the 2nd and 4th ones of the previous road trip?) but largely made more good things happen than not.

I have not been impressed by a single Zadorov game, even the one where where he had a pair of fortunate points.

Zadorov has recovered pretty nicely actually.

He's 2nd for defensemen in CF% and 2nd for xGF%. For a shut down guy that's just money.

He's first in xGA/60.

His last four games have featured xGF% of 79%/60%/73% and 68%

That's exceeding my expectations to be honest, and by a fair margin.

Valimaki is 7th (of 8 ahead of Stone) in all those categories.

I can't believe how good Gudbranson has been.

Wasn't he supposed to be terrible based on every advanced stat metric?

Defensive defencemen really seem like a blindspot for a lot of the advanced stats.
