We need to really push this narrative as Flames fans.
McDavid in a market like Dallas could really add a lot of fans in a non-traditional market with a lot of growth potential.

I'm glad they asked and allowed him to clear things up beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Sadly this Tkachuk doubt will only truly disappear when that long term deal is inked. Hopefully its sooner than later.

Tkachuk seemed to say something along the lines: "I'm a Flame right now, I knew I wasn't going anywhere". That addition of "right now" makes me really think he's not going to be a Flame that long. I hope I'm just being paranoid.

Jennifer Botterill is pretty good at her job. Makes me wonder why we're still stuck with Cassie at colour. I don't think Botterill would be a great colour analyst as she seems more analytical in her approach. Harvard grad after all. But it shows that there is more female talent out there then is represented. And the fact that Cassie still has a job after 15 years and she still isn't very good shows that diversity in broadcasting really isn't there yet. Screw her connections and try some new talent out sportsnet. So many wonderful female hockey players, or even broadcasting majors, that can do a way better job. Hell, Friedman is a college dropout with no playing experience and he is still front and centre. So it can't be based on qualifications.
