What exactly is the deal here? Have the cost sharing, ownership rights etc. been spelled out in the RFP? Or are these things that are being addressed in the Coyotes proposal? If so, I’d say we are a ways away from a done deal.

This is essentially the Coyotes submitting a proposal to be able to submit another, more complete proposal for what to do with the land.

The deal isn't close to being done, yet. But this is a crucial step.

Man with billions who has rare sports gambling license and long term interests in the valley builds stadium and mixed use entertainment area on city provided land

Still a lot to get done but this is 2+ years in the making.

Ball is on a Tee for the yotes

Well if he is developing this on his own nickel then yeah I’m sure it will happen.

If there are shovels in the ground in Tempe. This is the place if Gongdale doesn’t budge

It would be a retro experience and temporary. I think it would be pretty cool honestly. Like the flames playing at the corral for a year or two but a bit better. The Doghouse on McDowell

Just get an ice plant in there.

Ps. The state owns hat building not Phoenix. The Governor is super pro Arizona business

That's great to hear, I absolutely loved those jerseys.

The Kachina branding is just fantastic. Arizona needs to go forward with the black, white, and purple jerseys.

I know they were supposed to do it for the 25th anniversary of the team in 2020, but I hadn't heard they would going to go that way for 2021. Not sure this is in the cards for this season or not.

The Coyotes are going to be a massive #### show this year. No solid building to play in, and of forced into Veteran's its going to be a bigger joke than they have been. 13,700 seat facility with piss poor services, concessions, and a just bad facility for watching any event. Someone should just put a bullet in this franchise and put it out of its misery. Hey, maybe they'll have a wine cooler concession and keep their biggest booster happy.

;-)

Their arena will probably end up nicer than the dogs breakfast we are about to get!
