You'd think with the quick passing drills yesterday they'd be a bit better at it tonight. Seems like a lot of sloppy back hand passes, and everyone's fumbling the puck on reception. General lazy play.

Need to move their feet and get some clean passing happening in the 2nd.

My thoughts exactly. Use his dumb speed as a weapon against him. Stick check him all you want but it's apparent he can deke around people well. If you're a good enough hitter ignore watching the puck and just lay him out till he learns he doesn't get to do that against us without getting punished.

I honestly haven't been impressed with Tkachuk for quite awhile now, dating back to midway thru last season. He may be running himself out of town with Sutter at the helm now.

He used to be meh in his commentary but get by with the chemistry between him and Rick Ball. Now even that feels disjointed

I hope Hanafin gets another PP1 opportunity, as much as I like Rasmus, I think Hanafin has more offensive upside.

They need to draw up that PP from a while back where Lindholm is on the boards and passes it to Chucky down low beside the net and he makes the quick pass to Mony in the slot.

One down period since Sutter is here and it wasn't a complete breakdown like they were doing before. Lucic with the nice pass and a nice tip are the only reason it's 2-0.

I reckon they come out better in the 2nd.
