Monahan doesn't know what to do with the puck in the offensive zone. He just tosses it away

At this point Monahan should be getting limited minutes. He just isn't making anything happen. To many times the puck gets to him and it's a weak shot or turnovers.

He doesn't know what to do with the puck in any zone. Great on breakaways/shootouts and while standing in the slot.

Has taken a noticeable step back this year. Hoping he can right the ship.

So laviolette is the capitals coach. No way in hell Babs coaches again. So now you're left with Teddy Nolan and Bruce Boudreau.
