I've also said the both players stink but Neal stinks more. But I'm prepared to revise my view, and state that Lucic plays a credible third line role and is an NHL player. Neal should likely never suit up again. Calgary was won every aspect of this trade. Now if Lucic needs to be protected for an expansion slot, that could change things. But I think that chances of that occuring are basically nil. Lucic knows he won't be selected. And it's likely not that unappealing to him if he was.
