There is quick testing available at our airport. Test upon arrival. A test a few days later and your cleared to be in the general public. I wouldn’t imagine it should hold him up unless the issue goes another week or so.

I would imagine that the NHL has thousands of tests on hand, and is in the process of securing as many vaccines as possible.

Hopefully we can figure out whatever the #### was going on when we played the Habs.
We're pretty solid against most of the Canadian clubs in recent times. Certainly well above .500.
Oilers look pretty damn average. Their record screams a middle of the road, 4th place finish. Not top 2, or whatever.
Hopefully Markstrom fares better against these clubs this year.

Not sure if this was mentioned but was there any appetite to rename the divisions; Smythe, Norris, Patrick and Adams for just this one season?

Doesn't really make sense to punish all Canadian teams because some provinces can't get their act together. Move the Canadians team that can't play in their home province to other Canadian cities.

I mean, this makes the most sense. If it's just BC putting up a barrier, why put everything in a bubble. It's literally just the Canucks playing out of Calgary, Edmonton or a combination of the two.
I support the BC Government sticking to their guns on this. We have rules in place and I don't think they should be waived for a sports team just because. But it's not like there isn't an easy work around that only has to inconvenience the Canucks.

I'm pretty sure they will be going to Hubs but I'm almost positive they won't be going to a bubble.

I’m a little surprised this was agreed upon by the NHLPA without some concrete details about teams actually being able to play in their home rink (SJS, VAN). Can’t imagine those players are going to be too thrilled having to live in another city if they don’t get the green light from Health Agencies.

I looked at Markstrom's starts against he Canadian teams. He was in net for seven of the 10 loses. Looks bad on the surface, but 2 the team was shut out, 2 they only manged 1 goal, 2 were one goal games where they lost 3-2 (both to Edmonton) and the final loss was a 6-2 to the Flames. You aren't wining many games with one or less goals for. That record doesn't seem as bad when you dig a little deeper.

Sharks are already setup to play in Arizona until they’re allowed (if) to return back to San Jose. Canucks just do the same somewhere and off we go.

If we have ads on helmets this season to the tune of tens of millions of dollars in additional revenue then we now have ads on helmets going forward.

Help, save, whatever.

Personally I don't care if there are ads on the helmets. Sweaters I might care a little but helmets not at all.

Too many pregame hotdogs is my guess!

It is not my preference, but let's be honest: ads on helmets or jerseys is not going to affect the quality of play in the NHL at all. If the hockey is good and the games are accessible then I will remain a happy fan.

Yeah, I hate ads, but I totally get it. The NHL has to make up money somewhere. Hockey with ads is better than no hockey at all.
