Wasn’t this all but confirmed before COVID. They were going to wear the heritage jersey for playoffs and then it would be full time on the road next year and a new 3rd jersey was coming the season after.

Hello everyone, it's jersey day!
Popowich article will be running on FN at 8:00 on Tuesday. I'll post a few notable quotes here and on Twitter tomorrow afternoon after the interview and I'll also post the full interview transcript somewhere after the article comes out.
Very exciting day. I've been waiting for this to happen ever since I became a Flames fan. They are finally going to officially have the best regular jerseys in the league (with a decent likelihood that they'll add a tremendous alternate to that combo down the line).

Well...given the Flames' track record of jerseys I think its more than a mere 'possibility' I'd wager it to more in the realm of 'probability.'
