Agreed. Flames weathered the storm, and jets capitalized on the flames lone major blunder.

Hope to see the flames come out with a little more fire here in the second. I'd also want to see less of the 4th line and bottom pairing. Both were stuck in their own zone for all their 1st period shifts.

I'm feeling pretty okay still about this game. Jets came out hard, but I think we'll see a better period in the second. Flames don't seem intimidated.

Flames played sub par in the first and two don’t think the jets can play any better. As long as the flames get their crap even half araed together in the second they will be alright.

I actually felt the top line has been better so far this game than last. Created some solid zone time for themselves just hasn't clicked to generating a good scoring chance as yet.

Ah for some reason I thought Gustafson was Kylington. Yeah I’d like to see him too, some more speed. Gustafsons been decent though, and having two offensive guys can be a recipe for odd man rushes against.

Flames will figure out the zone exits here soon and then not let off. They didn't start looking frustrated so that's a good sign.

I know they dont want to (nor will they need to), but i believe they have zero confidence in OK. Its why 2 guys were added at the deadline. Then with JV getting the extra 4 months to heal up, OK slid down to the bottom of the pecking order behind all of them.

As much as I like kylington and dislike Gustafson, I think Gustafson is still a lower risk option during the high pressure games at the moment.
