You may have to sign up for $5 for a month access to espn+ or something but it looks like that’s the best/legal way.
Good luck and enjoy.

The Slovaks accidentally send their soccer team to the tournament with the amount of diving going on.

Interesting change to the semifinal matchups this year:
https://twitter.com/user/status/1212700630688706561
Under the old seeding, Canada would have played Russia in the semifinal. Under the new seeding, if Canada wins today, they won't play Russia in the semifinal.
If Canada and Sweden both win, Canada will play the winner of USA-FIN and Sweden will play Russia.
If Canada wins and Sweden loses, Canada will play the Czechs in the semifinal and Russia will play the winner of USA-FIN.

Just saw the Foote hit. Embarrassing call by the refs. Too bad they can potentially change a game with such a terrible call at the beginning of a game.

They just explained the IIHF on tsn, it's a penalty. My problem with it, how is Foote supposed to avoid it?

Foote is also suspended for the semi? Hope they rescind that.

Edit - TSN just repeated that they don't think he will be suspended, especially since he essentially missed this game.

We'll that's the end of the easy schedule, now its onto the hard part. Now we see what this team is made of.

Turcotte just got drilled on a huge open ice hit where the primary point of contact was hip to the body, but his arm (tucked in) made contact with the head at the same time due to it being flush not unlike Foote’s hit. He popped back up and nearly a mention of it. Of course 20 seconds later an American player boards a Fin directly from behind in response and gets a quick 2.

There was a blatant elbow to the head in that US-FIN game too
Both teams probably deserved a game misconduct in the first

Looked like someone who had never played contact hockey before. Players putting themselves into dangerous and avoidable situations are almost as big of a problem as deliberate hits to injure.

This ridiculous ‘clown’ music that’s played for every penalty can also just go away.

We may be heading towards our first upset in the QFs. Finland leads the USA 1-0 with 90 seconds left.
Mild upset, but upset nonetheless.

Excuse my ignorance, but did Dustin Wolf play in this tournament? If so, how did he do?

Classless by Wahlstrom to throw an elbow with 2 seconds left.
