We give up too many freebies. If it's not the goalies, it's Johnny or Brodie. Johnny at least contributes on the scoresheet. Brodie is a lost cause. Just not a reliable dman.

He has his moments but I'm surprised how small his toolbox is. Doesn't have great vision, not a great passer, and doesn't really do anything well but when he's in the mood he gets off a pretty decent shot.

Really, people, Brodie tries to make the right play and chip the puck up to hold the zone, it bounces off the shin pad of the player checking him, and you call it a dumb play. Then he’s not on the ice, both D leave Palmieri completely uncovered right in front of the net, and that’s also Brodie’s fault because he cost the Flames momentum? The double standard on here is mind-boggling

I sure love that confident feeling I had most of the season when in games. Lately I feel as though I'm completely on edge, and can't relax even when up a couple of goals. This lackadaisical play is too much for us fans.

What was Rittich doing on the 2nd goal? Looked like he was leaving the net to go stop or play the puck, but a Devil was right in front of him waiting for that puck...

Does it though?
There's a reason why Rasmus has been occupying that spot lately.
Brodie managed to play up to par for half a season, now complacency is setting in. Nothing against the guy personally, he's just not playing well enough to be on the top pairing of a top team right now. He's welcome to turn it around any time, but he hasn't. So it's probably time to sit.

All I will say is that if Smith had made that exact same play.......people would still be complaining. That was a very poor decision.
