Burkie clarified that actually. Lindholm does it all. Not only has the top line been amazing, but his 200ft game makes the team better, PP, big PK'er with backs. He just does it all. For that take from burke, I'm actually impressed, he's not really reaching but he's not grabbing the low hanging friut (Gio, Gaudreau).

It really does speak to how much of an impact that trade has given the Flames.

I understand that sentiment, but like Burke said....Lindholm does EVERYTHING and does it well.

I think he is the MVP too, with Gio 2nd and Johnny a solid 3rd,

Good problem to have mind you.

That Lindholm contract is going to be one of the top 5 best deals In the NHL going forward.

Funny how quickly everyone forgets that smith cost us 8 points in the standings single handedly. Foolish to think he won’t do it again.

Nice that he is playing better now ish. But he isn’t the answer for this team this year. You cannot trust him to win us a playoff series or go further and the rest of this roster is built well enough that they could win it all. But goaltending will be our let down.

I will be happy to be proven wrong in the long run but don’t put all your eggs in the smith basket

I have a feeling it’s more important to you that you are proven right even if it’s bad for the Flames

Nobody has forgotten.

But it doesn't mean you pick on the guy after every single goal. It's so exhausting.

Just enjoy the game. The Flames have a good team. Cheer for Smith to do well.

edit: The 8 point comment is debatable to say the least.

Bennett is in the doghouse. Hathaway bumped up.

Awful turn over by Monny there. Right into the high slot.

Being hard on him when he deserves it is different than being hard on him when he doesn't.

Yes he cost us some games. Doesn't mean every goal should turn into this much whining

I am enjoying the game. In fact that was a great second line shift right there

NM only saw Bennett with the puck and assumed 2nd

Bennett responds with a strong shift with Quine and Czar.
