I've noticed that too. He makes tricky little passes like he did on that give-and-go with Bennett on the last shift (which was a good play) but then he makes baffling passes to nobody too. I'm trying really hard to like the guy but he doesn't make it very easy with questionable plays like that.

And both guys stand still a lot. Not enough skating on that line.

Really don’t give a crap about his career averages.
IMO, he can perform better.

Not a huge fan of that second line, doesn't seem to have a lot of jump tonight..

See, there's a tricky breakout play by Ryan. In that case, the tricky play was also the smart play. He needs to do the smart play more often even if it might not be glamorous.

This game needs more Gaudreau. He's been somewhat invisible tonight.

Love Staples center music guy. They play all the music I could drink to during a game.

Well yeah, that’s what makes a career average a career average. Sometimes he plays better, sometimes he plays worse, sometimes he plays average.

30 year elite defensively player who provides above average offense is already a fantastic player and I wouldn’t hold my breath hoping he gets better than that at age 30

Neil is not impressive on the second line. Not the shutdown line it used to be. Kick him back to the third. Second line and Chucky had more offensive AND defence without him. Agree?

I wanted to like lone survivor but couldn't get past the fact that it was so clearly filmed in the US. Just couldn't get immersed in it
