Senate map favoured the GOP in 2018. Senate map will favour the Dems in 2020. I didn't expect a Blue Wave at all for the midterm elections. I had a strong feeling the Trump neanderthals/morons would step up and come out and vote more than usual(party in power midterms) to avoid the wave.

Did Fox News really call the House early for the Dems to persuade voters to stay away on the West coast? Interesting theory. I guess I can't put it past them.

Glad Romney will be in the Senate.

Too bad he could not win in 2012. I am a huge fan.

Well taking both chambers was always going to be very difficult, but taking the House is still a huge blow to Trump and opens up all sorts of possible investigations. I imagine Trump is looking into how to shut the House down until 2021.

Kris Kobach has been defeated. That's a shame.

Woah. I had no idea she was in politics.

Had she won we could have had 2 former Calgary residents in the US Senate.

The one take away for me is that Trump's re-election which I thought was impossible may have some hope.

Sharice Davids won tonight, she's an openly gay Native American. Lots of firsts tonight, great to see.

Romney at least seems like a decent, sane person. So I guess that's a good thing, considering the amount of reprehensible GOP scumbags currently occupying congress.

Any system where you can have three million fewer votes and win will always offer hope.

Romney still has presidential ambitions. Hopefully Trump feels the shank soon.

I mean really - the only reason not to vote for trump is if you're sick of losing.
Renegotiate Nafta - well, what was really accomplished? Not much. It was a very minor change to NAFTA and rebranding it under the Trump name. Nothing of consequence, but a supposed win.

Push free trade towards fair trade - nothing has been accomplished here. What "trade" changes has he made that have not ended up hurting Americans?

Rejuvenate the economy - thanks Obama. Trump actually did SFA here. Numbers are weaker since Trump took office, and his policies have done little to support sustained growth.

Cut red tape - what red tape would this be?

Cut taxes - he did indeed deliver. Delivered to the elites and saddled the rest of the nation with several trillion dollars of new debt.

Iran sanctions - how is this affecting anything? Has Iran altered their course or policy? Nope.

Destroyed Elizabeth Warren's credibility - we won't know this until the next election cycle, but feel free to claim victory for something that clearly has yet to be determined.

Made supreme court conservative - yup, that is a win, but this is on McConnell, not on Trump.
