I wonder if Mike Richards would consider a comeback?

Pinder is moving to afternoons starting today.

Please don't let Will Nault be the full time replacement.

The walking, talking Otrivin commercial? Can’t get enough of his takes on the Galgary Flabes.

I really don't mind the guys on the Fan. Everyone loves to complain about these guys. I'm sure a lot of us have off days at work. No need to continuously say how much someone sucks at their job.

I just enjoy that there is a dedicated sports channel in Calgary. I remember days before that was a thing so I just enjoy being able to turn on the station when I want to hear sports. I have never really had an issue with any of the personalities.

Personally I really like Peter Klein and think he needs a bigger role on the station.

I would like that too. He's enjoyable to listen to and a good fit on the morning show.

So did Pinder ask to be in the afternoon and have his own gig?

They had Pinder on the phone this morning and he said it was Kirsch who approached Pinder to move to afternoons after Rob left.

Will said it would be Steinberg at 1, and then Pinder and Steinberg at 2.

I can get in board with this. I’m thinking that it’ll be a little analytics heavy at times but it’ll be a serious, hardcore sports show to be sure.

It balances out the morning and afternoon show. But I personally really enjoyed the pointless banter that occurred on the morning show.

He's got a good voice for radio and as a younger guy he's got potential to improve. The thing I would focus on if I was him was to start paying attention to all sports. The worst thing these guys can do is just focus on hockey because that makes them useless at times of the year when there's no hockey. If your job is sports radio you better ensure you are paying attention to football, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, MMA, etc. It's one of the things Mike Richards was good at as he wasn't just a hockey guy. Hockey guys are a dime a dozen in Canada so you need to separate yourself with insight on other sports.

I'll return to tuning in once they find a real host.

It is the guests that matter. I can listen to Lubo and Duhatchuk all day long. Don't see anything wrong with the segment.

Klein is big fan of baseball and wrestling, not sure what else.

I don’t think that was Pinder’s strength. Dean & Rhett have that covered in spades.

He's really good, but he says "Ummmm" way too much and kills everything he is saying.
