The officiating in this league really is a joke.

Knights got robbed. Back-to-back penalties in double overtime? Come on.

Both were blatant. Highstick to the mouth and a hook hauling down a player that had worked his way into the slot for a chance.

The high stick was not debatable, but the hook was an iffy penalty for double OT.

Anyways, this looks like a great series. Going to be watching more of this one.

There were 2-3 equally blatant non-calls going the other way. They put their whistles away for first OT and then call back-to-back?

Nice to see Vegas finally experience a bit of adversity for a change. This series will probably go 7 games.

Agreed with the sentiment about the hook. Looked more like a dive tbh. Not sure how he lost his footing when the stick was hooked.

Maybe Dr Nick Riviera can explain how the stick is connected to the leg?

Don't like the officials deciding a game. Only thing worse is Toronto stepping in and overruling a game winning goal with a weak call. Don't care who's playing.

Ok, here's where I have a completely open mind.

Someone please convince me that Vegas goal shouldn't count. I will not be an ass, and I'm listening. A lot of experts and analysts seem ok with the decision, but I just can't understand why.

I know I'm missing something. Help me out!

It's a hook. A player shouldn't have to fall down to prove it's a hook. It clearly stopped his stride.

The goal didn't count, because incidental contact led to Jones not being able to fairly make a save.

The league can't have an expansion team sweep through two playoff rounds?

Considering what they let go previous to that, it was a weak ass call and he went down way too easily.

The goalie interference call I can get behind though.

Incidental is the problem. In that case, it should count.
