Watching the game out tonight, so didn’t hear the sound...but after all the missed calls on JG and all the chirping around that missed meathook high stick call and others, the ref had his feelings hurt and took JGs little arm twitch as another personal affront in him and the Flames trying to show him up.

Given JG didn’t miss a stride, and was on a PP, that was a truly pathetic, personally biased call that the ref needs to be disciplined for (not that we would ever hear about it).

I don't know how you reach this conclusion...he had a couple points against Arizona and a good game. Not much for results since and 9 goals on the season.

We have a different set of refs every game ...but the same coaching staff.

There is a different excuse every night. GG is WHL level at best.

Two guys with Bennett in their avatar are constantly defending the guy no matter what. He was not the problem or the solution this game.

He has NOT proven to be a top six nhler by any metric...hope he does one day but give your head a shake. For a top 4 pick he has had a very poor career so far. NINE GOALS!

You sir are correct. Of course his whole story hasn’t been written yet.

But it speaks to how thin this teams forward ranks are that one underperforming high draft pick is such a huge factor.
