Ferland is getting real aggressive around the net. Monahan had the puck in his sights but Ferland beat him to it when he scored.

If there was one negative it was the Bronx cheer for Lack shortly after the 2nd goal. Yeah let's raz our backup that hasn't had a lot of playing time.... Big props to the fans that followed that up with the Eddie chant a few minutes later!

That was a fun game to be at! Score flattered the Blues in my opinion.

Was at the game, and for the last half of the 3rd all I could think of was Hughson’s “legend of Eddie Lack” comment... glad I’m not the only one who’s remembered that.

Lack held his ground. I was a little uncomfortable with his puck handling and his command of the net. None of the goals were his fault, though I bet that Smith somehow stops one of them by some miraculous play. But good on Lack to score the W. Hopefully his next start he gets a bunch of confidence from it.

Sorry I missed this game. But when I said i'd rather have Jankowski as 2C or 3C over Turris or any other overpriced veteran centre - I meant it!

Finally, the Flames roster is playing to its potential.

Brett Kulak is here to stay. Stood up for teammates, makes great plays at both ends of the ice...

With Janko replacing Stajan, Kulak replacing Bart, and Lazar fitting in with Brouwer and Versteeg, this team has no weak link. Every player is good.

We should probably stop quoting it. Not because it's ok but to not draw attention to it. That and when he wakes up in the morning and decides to delete his post it's better to not have it quoted numerous times.

I'm impressed with Kulak. What a solid D man he is turning out to be. He's smart defensively and he can skate.
Janko's uses his reach extremely well. On his second goal, after the deke, he just reached around the goalie and scored. He was a force all night - could have easily scored a hat trick.
Jagr is really starting to be noticed on that line as well. He's rounding into form.
As another poster pointed out, once Smith left the game, the Flames D seemed to tighten up, especially in the 2nd period - they looked different than when Smith was in the net.

Even though I find Stone a little slower on his feet than Hamonic (when they’re both healthy), I’ve been enjoying his quick shots with his top 4 time alongside Brodie. Last year it seemed Hamilton was able to get off quick little wristers effectively, but so far this season only Stones bombs (lately) seem like consistent weapons from the blue line. Anyway, just a shout out for adding extra dimensions to our offensive threats.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
