Yeah, multiple days off and then play the cup champs...not saying I like it but it happens
hopefully they are up to game speed now...honestly they are handing the Pens all their chances on a silver platter just need to clean it up.

Can you imagine if Gaudreau was drafted by a franchise that was actually good at building a hockey team?

When he passes to these three I've noticed a trend of him seemingly passing where the stick would be if they were a left shot. Did he play on the Red Army growing up?

There's also something else those three players have in common...

top of the roster played well. bottom of the roster sank all momentum and advantage. yet gg loves riding borderline nhl guys. same story as last season, but at least now bartkowski is not a regular starter for now. small steps, i guess.
versteeg-stajan-brouwer dont' work together. but spreading the suck around probably won't help either. and glass would just torpedo things further. bad roster spot there if they don't improve.
have to think mangiapane-hrivik-hathaway would be a huge improvement on our character leadership 4th line

It's getting harder and harder to defend Gulutzan. I've really tried to avoid jumping on the "fire GG" bandwagon but my God that's simply unacceptable.

Meh they looked like **** that period after three days off but it’s tied 0-0. Not a big deal really.

GG let's his vets go out and play as long as they want on the ice. He never restricts their ice time hence why the Stajan line is playing so much.

Ya I forgot about how useless Lazar is as well. Treliving has done some great things but he has also #### the bed a few times as well.

as someone mentioned earlier he probably had 3 shifts and a PK...one shift he was hemmed in his own zone for eternity
I don't think that ice time was by design

People complaining about Stajan ice aren't watching or just want to complain for the sake of complaining. A couple prolonged shifts because they got hemmed in plus pk time. If you think the coach wanted him out for a couple 90 second shifts then I don't know what to tell you.

I can't remember who posted the comment but it does really seem like GG coaches not to lose, doesn't coach to win

I just looked it up and Monahan, Gaudreau, and Ferland all have more ice time than Stajan tonight. Not sure where TenaciousC got his numbers from but the NHL app disagrees with him.

I think some people are forgetting that we're playing the back-to-back defending Stanley Cup champions.
