Is cutting 10 billion dollars out of the provinces' spending really 'fiscally responsible' or is it pennywise and pound foolish?

Seems like a lot of smoke and mirrors.
Well he was part of a federal party that consistently put up deficits and didn't do anything about the equalization formula while they were a majority, so that should tell you all you need to know.

In both cases it is weaksauce....anything that takes the public away from being able to debate issues and policy and replaces it with labels and scorn is taking us down the path of America.

I'm not a huge Kenney fan but keep one thing in mind. The UCP has not even had a convention yet and has no official policies or party platform. Kenney's thoughts, beliefs etc. may have little relevance depending on where the UCP comes out with their policies on various topics. I'm willing to give them at least that before I decide. I so wanted to consider the Alberta party last election but they just seemed too far left on some issues. Time to look again I suppose, then compare to whatever the UCP comes out with.
