This isn’t just taking a stick from a guy during a game, that was Bieksa trying to take Smith’s first shutout game puck - a puck that symbolizes a curse being broken. He’s a POS and I don’t think Tkachuk would do something that slimy.

The curse is broken, the Flames are 2-1 to start the season, Smith is exceeding expectations, the Oilers lost again, and the Flames are still going to be adding Jagr and Jankowski to the lineup - wow a lot to be thankful for!

There's certainly a difference between the two, but i disagree in saying that Tkachuk wouldn't do something like that. I think he totally would and I wouldn't have a problem with that just like I didn't have a problem with what Bieksa did.
